Beacon Hospital in Dublin, Ireland is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in Europe, with over 1,800 healthcare professionals.
Asgard Controlled Environments have been appointed to carry out the turnkey design, build and qualification of a new cGMP Aseptic Compounding Unit at Beacon Hospital. The pharmacy will be used to prepare individual patients’ chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies.
Over the last few months the Asgard Controlled Environments design team have worked with Beacon Hospital’s Pharmacy Design Team to develop all aspects of the facility design, ensuring it will operate efficiently and service Beacon Hospital’s compounding batch requirements. We have recently completed the DQ sign off for the turnkey design and will shortly be commencing the construction phase to deliver the facility for the hospital.
We are looking forward to the coming months, working collaboratively with Beacon Hospital’s team to deliver a facility which will assist the hospital in delivering tailored preparations for their patients.
