Former Asgard employee and Castlecomer native Lisa O’Rourke is this year’s Kilkenny Rose. Lisa will represent Kilkenny in the Rose of Tralee in August, where Roses representing both Ireland and abroad will take to the stage in Kerry on August 19th and 20th.
This year, Lisa was chosen as the @Relay for Life Kilkenny ambassador, in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. AsgaTech have kindly donated €500 towards providing vital cancer support services. Lisa and Judy were presented with a donation by AsgaTech Group CEO John Comerford at our Castlecomer manufacturing facility recently. We are delighted to be supporting both Lisa and Relay for Life Kilkenny and we wish Lisa the very best of luck at the Rose of Tralee festival next month.
