Construction Project Supervisor

Job Title: Project Supervisor

Salary: Tba Based on Experience

Place Of Work: Site Based, Nationwide

Terms: Permanent/Full-Time

Reporting To: Contracts Manager

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm

Responsibilities:  

  • Attend daily whiteboard meetings
  • Coordinate the daily allocation of labour to achieve schedule milestones
  • Manage the safe execution of all site operations
  • Procurement and management of material deliveries to achieve schedule milestones
  • Communicate daily with the contracts manager on site operations and workfront forecasts
  • Manage the quality control of all works being completed
  • Liaise with Asgard design department to ensure that all detailing is completed ahead of the works installation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:  

  • Construction site experience
  • Graduate construction or engineering degree applications welcomed
  • Have a positive and proactive approach towards problem solving
  • Ability to plan ahead of work completions to trouble shoot potential work disruptions
  • Ability to motivate employees and sub-contractors to complete all works to the highest standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client/contractor relations

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am – 3.00pm

Responsibilities:  

  • Oversees daily activity of all departments
  • Prepares budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed
  • Provides advice and guidance to other employees
  • Manages team workloads in order to meet goals and deadlines
  • Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Improves existing systems and policies
  • Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner
  • Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace
  • Oversees construction activity

  • Executes plans designed to meet company goals by changing policies and coaching employees.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Level 8 or higher in a related qualification
  • 5+ Years’ experience in a related management role
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Effective leadership and people management skills
  • Effective management and delegation skills
  • Understanding of a multi-faceted business operation
  • Ability to be proactive and also to foresee events and react appropriately towards them
  • Complex problem-solving ability and effective decision-making ability

Architectural Designer/BIM Technicians

Job Description:

Job Title: Architectural Designer/BIM Technician

Salary: TBA based on experience

Place of Work: Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny

Terms: Permanent/Full-time

Reporting to: Design Manager

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 5.00pm; Friday 8.30 to 3.30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for producing drawings, details, door schedules etc. primarily through Revit 3D models. Designs will be issued for client approval through design submittals and status of each submittal will be maintained on a submittal summary log.
  • Producing product data technical submittals for client approval and the status of each submittal will be maintained on a submittal summary log.
  • Liaising with the Design Manager & Design Contracts Manager as well as architects, consultants, engineers and clients in relation to all aspects of project designs.
  • Attending client design review meetings to review design progress and co-ordinate with other designers.
  • Producing panel/component schedules for materials required to construct the project following client approval of the design.
  • Documentation of design hazards identified during the design stage and communicating residual risks to the PSDP through a Design Risk Assessment.
  • Liaising with Design contracts Manager and the site management team to update documents where necessary during the construction stage of the project.
  • Ensuring that handover documentation is compiled and issued appropriately throughout the design and construction phase of the project.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Level 7 or higher in a related qualification desired.
  • 2+ Years’ experience in a related role (Graduates should also apply)
  • Proficient in Revit Design
  • Knowledge of Irish / UK Building Regulations
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills
