As this project involved the client manufacturing milk formula it required very strict cleanroom installation “clean build” protocols. All cleanroom materials were subject to cleaning at multiple stages of installation. To support these protocols Puritas developed a specific sets of protocol support documents and procedures that were adopted site wide.In specific areas of the cleanroom the walk on ceiling height reached 8m.This area was also under high positive pressure from the HVAC systems. To achieve the defection criteria for the modular walls system Puritas designed and integral support system within the panels as well as adopting a castellated design concept to ensue minimum defection.As the wall and ceiling system had numerous process services penetrations specific service panels had to designed and integrated without impacting on the deflection criteria of the walls as well as not impacting on the ceilings walk on capability.
