National Forensic Science Laboratories

The new Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) laboratory building is located on the OPW Campus in Backweston, Co. Kildare. A critical part of the new FSI facility is the FSI Evidence Analysis labs, a purpose-built suite of clean controlled environments to include preparation and search rooms, examination rooms, SEM and PCR.

Asgard Cleanroom Solutions role on this project was the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the classified lab spaces incorporating the following products:

Plasteurop SB05 50mm thick fully flush suspended cleanroom ceiling system.
Flooring
Tarkett Granit vinyl and Forbo marmoleum.
Doorsets
Middas steel doorsets with flush fitting frames integratred into wall system.

Middas M100 bi-panel fully flush cleanroom wall system including recessed base for coved floor upstand.

Plasteurop SB05 50mm thick fully flush double glazed system incorporating hinged access panels.

PLC Interlocking controls for airlock doors.
