Asgard Cleanroom Solutions is looking to recruit a full-time Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Administrator to provide effective co-ordination and support to the EHS department.
This position will be based in our Kilkenny office and is an ideal opportunity for a certificate qualified candidate looking to kick-start their career in Health & Safety.
This will be an office-based role initially. We will build your career and provide ongoing training/educational support. This role offers a highly competitive salary, expenses, and 25 days annual leave.
- Actively contribute to the maintenance and development of key EHS programs
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist in internal and external EHS audits
- Collaborate with the EHS team to develop and deliver training programs
- Promote a culture of safety awareness among employees
- Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and corrective actions while ensuring documentation complies with legal requirements
- Contribute to the development and testing of emergency response plans
- Communicate EHS policies and procedures to employees at all levels
- Prepare and submit regular EHS reports to the Group EHS Manager
- Certificate qualified or higher. EHS qualification is preferred, but not essential (Construction experience in a Pharma related background desirable, but not essential)
- Proven track record of success in EHS sector desirable
- Strong understanding of EHS issues desirable
